Kngine

 

Now we are  working on next release of Kngine the first not-trial release BUT we would like to give you an insight about what we will be doing this year.

 

Even though it is our goal i to collect, organize, and index the human beings Systematic Knowledge and Experiences and make it accessible to everyone. We have found that it's hard for the users to reach the information through the search query, mainly because the users don't know what is the best way to write questions or queries that return the best answer.

 

Actually this our main focus this year, we intend to simplify the search process and make it more effective  and friendly using two main technologies:

• Available Results.
• Parallel Search.

 

• Available Results: The available results buttons will allow the users to get additional semantic results without the need to search again. For example when you search about cities, the additional results could be: Weather, Hotels, Attractions, and Events; and when you search about movies the additional results could be: Trailer, Memorable Quotes, User reviews.
  

 

 

• Parallel Search: We have found the users increase like to search about concepts that have common attribute, such as: ‘Leonardo da Vinci art work’, ‘parents of the U.S presidents’ so we are working on what we call Parallel Search that will help the users to perform Parallel Search, filter, and sort the results according to the discovered common attributes.

 

Kngine Road Map / Future releases:

• January: In last week of January we plan to release Kngine (the first not trial release). This release will include a lot of improvements in the interface and all the functionality as well as new features such as: Available Results, Spell checking, Injected News and Photos, and more.
• February/March : In February/March we plan to release a major improvement  for photo search, and some new features such as: Parallel Search.
• May: We Plan to introduce the fully Arabic search into question answering.
